The Taralga Showground is a spacious and attractive area of 7.5 hectares on the eastern edge of the village, hosting many regular sporting and recreational activities as well as various cultural
events each year. It has existed at this site for over 100 years and is maintained through the generous support of volunteers.

Taralga is a small historic village in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, with a population of approximately 400 residents in the village. Taralga is known for its fine collection of nineteenth century buildings, foodie scene and the famous Taralga Australia Day Rodeo. The town is also on the way to (and only a short distance from) the spectacular Wombeyan Caves.
